PowerChart Touch Surgery for iPad® and iPhone® supports fast, easy and smart workflows for the surgeon. PowerChart Touch Surgery allows surgeons to complete a typical patient visit and inpatient workflows, including:

• Review their schedule and patient charts
• Review laboratory, radiology and medication orders
• Prescribe and Refill medications with electronic submission to pharmacies including drug-drug and drug-allergy checking for safe prescription writing
• Ability to place laboratory orders
• Ability to associate diagnoses with orders
• Ability to print prescriptions
• Pharmacy search – including ability to search by current location, patient location with display of interactive map
• Review physician notes
• Review clinical results

PowerChart Touch Surgery also provides secure access for physicians needing access to the EHR outside of the facilitys walls.
